Abbiamo il piacere di comunicarti che è uscito il bando di concorso per partecipare alla nona edizione dell'Euganea Film Festival che si svolgerà dal 9 al 25 luglio 2010 nel territorio dei Colli Euganei, tra Este e Monselice (Padova).
L’edizione 2010 del festival si articola intorno a sei sezioni competitive:
Concorso Cortometraggi Italiani
Alla sezione sono ammessi cortometraggi prodotti in Italia di qualsiasi genere e formato di durata non superiore a 30 minuti. Il tema è libero e le opere devono essere state realizzate dopo il 1 Gennaio 2008.
Concorso Cortometraggi Stranieri
Alla sezione sono ammessi cortometraggi prodotti fuori dall’Italia di qualsiasi genere e formato, di durata non superiore a 30 minuti. Il tema è libero e le opere devono essere state realizzate dopo il 1 Gennaio 2008. Per accedere alla selezione i cortometraggi stranieri - esclusi i lavori parlati in inglese - devono avere i sottotitoli in inglese o in italiano.
Concorso Internazionale Cortometraggi di Animazione
Alla sezione sono ammessi film di animazione italiani e stranieri realizzati con qualsisi tecnica e dopo il 1 Gennaio 2008. La durata non deve essere superiore ai 30 minuti.
Concorso Internazionale del Documentario
Alla sezione sono ammessi film documentari italiani e stranieri, di qualsiasi genere e formato, realizzati dopo il 1 Gennaio 2008. La durata non deve essere superiore ai 90 minuti. Per accedere alla selezione i documentari stranieri - esclusi i lavori parlati in inglese - devono avere i sottotitoli in inglese o in italiano.
Premio Parco Colli Euganei
Alla sezione sono ammessi film documentari italiani che trattino tematiche legate all'ambiente e al racconto del territorio. Sono ammessi film di qualsiasi genere e formato, di durata non superiore ai 90 minuti e realizzati dopo il1 Gennaio 2008.
Concorso Veneto Movie Movement
Alla sezione sono ammessi cortometraggi e documentari realizzati da autori veneti o girati in Veneto, di qualsiasi genere e formato e di durata non superiore ai 30 minuti per i cortometraggi, 90 minuti per i documentari. Il tema è libero e le opere devono essere state realizzate dopo il 1 Gennaio 2008.
Una giura assegnerà un premio alla migliore opera in ognuna delle sei sezioni soprammenzionate:
- Migliore Cortometraggio italiano EFF 2010
- Migliore Cortometraggio straniero EFF 2010
- Migliore Cortometraggio di Animazione EFF 2010
- Migliore Documentario EFF 2010
- Premio Parco Colli Euganei
- Premio Veneto Movie Movement
Gli spettatori che saranno presenti al festival avranno la possibilità di votare per ciascuna serata il miglior lavoro visto, assegnando così il Premio del Pubblico che è da considerarsi assoluto per tutte le sezioni.
La scheda di iscrizione deve essere compilata direttamente sul sito web del Festival www.euganeafilmfestival.it seguendo le istruzioni riportate on-line.
Una volta compilato il modulo di iscrizione verra' inviato all’indirizzo e-mail fornito un messaggio di conferma con allegato un riepilogo dei dati immessi nella scheda. Questa dovrà essere stampata, firmata e inviata insieme al materiale video.
Le copie per la selezione devono essere inviate esclusivamente in formato DVD entro e non oltre il 27 Marzo 2010 al seguente indirizzo:

We are pleased to inform you, that it is now possible to submit your work to the ninth Edition of Euganea Film Festival, International Festival of Short Film and Documentary. The International Festival will take place in the Euganean Hills region, from the 9th to the 25th of July 2010 in Este and Monselice (Padua, ITALY).
The 2010 Festival Edition is divided into six sections:
Italian Short Films Competition
Short films produced in Italy after the 1st of January 2008, of any genre, format or subject, up to a maximum of 30 minutes length.
International Short Films Competition
Short films produced outside Italy after the 1st of January 2008, of any genre, format or subject, up to a maximum of 30 minutes length. Short movies in any language except English must have English or Italian subtitles.
International Short Animation Competition
Short animation films produced in or outside Italy after the 1st of January 2008, of any genre, format or subject, up to a maximum of 30 minutes length. Short movies in any language except English must have English or Italian subtitles.
International Documentary Competition
Documentaries made in or outside Italy after the 1st of January 2008, of any genre, format or subject, up to a maximum of 90 minutes length. Documentaries in any language except English must have English or Italian subtitles.
Euganean Hills Prize
Italian documentaries dealing with the Euganean Hills territory, made after the 1st of January 2008, of any genre, format or subject, up to a maximum of 90 minutes length.
Veneto Movie Movement competition
Documentaries and short movies made by authors from the territory of Veneto or made in Veneto, of any size or format, not longer than 30 minutes for the shorts, not longer than 90 minutes for the documentaries. The subject is free and the works must have taken place after the 1st of January 2008.
The EFF 2010 pre-selection Committee will appoint a qualified Jury, that will choose the best work for each of the six festival sections:
- EFF 2010 Best Italian Short
- EFF 2010 Best International Short
- EFF 2010 Best Animation Short
- EFF 2010 Best Documentary
- Euganean Hills Prize
- Veneto Movie Movement Prize
The audience can also vote their favourite work, chosen between all the movies. The work chosen will receive the Audience Award.
The entry form to participate must be filled in on-line, following the instructions that you will find at the Festival's website www.euganeafilmfestival.it.
Then, you will receive a confirmation email with a copy of your entry-form in pdf file. Please print it, sign it and send it with the video of your work.
The preview-copy of your work for selections must be in DVD format.
Works in languages different from Italian or English, must have English and/or Italian subtitles.
The deadline for sending your work is the 27th of March 2010.
